Individual Donations

The ELCO Education Foundation enhances excellence in education by providing a funding avenue for new programs, technology, equipment, teacher grants, and student scholarships. Tax-deductible donations from community members, parents, businesses, other foundations, and alumni create a compelling partnership of commitment to the success of the ELCO School District. We believe that excellent public schools are essential to the economic and social health of the ELCO community.

EITC Donations

Step Up to Support:

educational excellence to enhance student achievement
to recognize exemplary staff
and to foster community support and involvement.

This is largely made possible by donations from area businesses that donate to the Foundation as part of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). Companies who donate receive a credit against their state corporate taxes.

75 cents for every dollar
90 cents on the dollar if the donation is a two-year commitment

Corporate Donation

Corporate donations are needed to support the ELCO Education Foundation Grants. In 2023-2024, The ELCO Education Foundation provided funding for multi classroom sensory tools, the ELCO High School Quiz Bowl program, 360 paddleball for Phys Ed classes, Lego Invention Center for both K-2 buildings, and continued support of the ELCO Middle School Planetarium. The ELCO Education Foundation has also purchased a 3D printer, instruments for the Intermediate School, books for the Book Mobile, Plant Growing Lights, transportation to the Archives in Washington, DC for the Veteran’s History Project, as well as supplies and testing fees for the EMT program.
